Trade show display fabrics: Most of the major manufactures use the same fabrics and most of the same colors. They work! This also allows you to buy a booth from one manufacturer and a counter from another and have a coordinated image. The fabrics have improved over the years. They are more durable to increase the life of the displays. The improved colors match the trends. Wall fabrics: Frontrunner and Prelude are great for this application. Common Fabrics: Click on the name to view the colors. Display manufactures stock different fabrics as a standard. If you choose a different fabric than what they stock, there is usually an up charge and probably a few days delay in the building of your display. Bulk fabric: Rolls come in 63" widths. It is sold by the linear yard. Price depends upon the amount sold. There is a 7 linear yard minimum which is $25 per linear yard at that quantity. A full roll is 55 lin. yards and the cost is $17.42 per lin. yd at that volume. Applying: The manufacturer recommends going to Home Depot (or the like) for the glue. They wouldn't recommend a brand name. Any good wall paper glue will work. I would suggest a glue for the heavier materials instead of paper. One thing is critical. The wall needs to be finished, or sized. Seal the wall with a good primer so that the glue won't be absorbed into the wall. A wall with semi gloss paint is fine. Raw drywall will use up most of the glue, dry it out, and cause the fabric not to stick. Put the glue on the wall and then apply the fabric. Use a roller to press it into the glue, not hard, just to get it even. Of course don't get the glue to thick so it goes through the fabric. I would recommend a test area just to see how much glue to use. Get professional advise from where you purchase the glue. New Glue
